Hello! My name is Melissa Schannauer, but I'm also refered to as Missy. This is my second year attending Shippensburg University and I am majoring in the Education field. My specification in the education field is in the mid-level (grades 4 through 8) with a concentration in language arts (reading, writing, etc). I chose the language arts concentration because I enjoy reading and I look forward to teaching. I also enjoy spending time with friends and family, the beach, and laughing. My philosophy is; do what you like, like what you do.
I am really interested in the theatre aspect of culture, such as musicals, dramas, and comedies. Although I do like to read, most of the assigned literature throughout my education has been uninteresting to me, I like to be able to choose the literature that I read.
